He is a member of the Global CFA Institute for Chartered Financial Analysts, a CPA in the United States, holds a B.S. in Accountancy from DePaul University in Chicago, and an MBA/MM from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Litman’s most important work is funding and building charitable programs for assisting underdeveloped communities, particularly in the Philippines. With the Foundation of Socioeconomic Advancement and the Institute of Strategy & Valuation, “super-full-ride” scholarships and OTJ (On-the-Job Training) programs are provided to right, economically disadvantage students. He is a heavy lender in interest-free microfinance loan programs for small business and entrepreneurs and also an Advisory Board Member of Children International.
